Taxi from Kathmandu – Nagarkot , 32 km from Thamel and will take 1.5 hours depending on traffic jam. Cost will Rs. 2800 and from Bhaktapur it will be Rs. 1500 to nagarkot. Non AC.

By Bus

Local buses are generally crowded, slow and uncomfortable and Roads to Nagarkot are often narrow, windy and poorly maintained.

You can take a local bus from kathmandu to bhaktapur (40 minutes depending on traffic jam http://bit.ly/2N3YgXT ) Rs. 30 and then from bhaktapur to Nagarkot (you need to be at nagarkot bus park, kamal binayak http://bit.ly/2NxyJWw ) Rs. 50, 1 hour, every 30-40 minutes only one bus, the last bus will be at 5 pm, need to be early otherwise you won’t find a seat. The bus from Bhaktapur to nagarkot is Not very comfortable. For gentle reminder, we are located 3 km far from the Nagarkot bus stop, so, if you are coming in local bus, you need to walk around half an hour to find us.
PS: Entrance fee to enter nagarkot is 350 Rs for foreigners and Rs. 200 for SAARC nationalities.
